When you register for an account, enroll in a course, or subscribe to our Practice Labs, we collect personal information necessary to provide our services. This includes your full name, email address, phone number, and billing information. When you use our Practice Labs, we also collect telemetry data regarding your command executions, session durations, and practice question success rates to track your progress and provide personalized learning feedback.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data is used strictly for the purpose of delivering and improving our educational services. Specifically, we use your email to send account verifications, password resets, enrollment confirmations, and essential updates. Your practice data is used to generate your dashboard statistics and leaderboard rankings. We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling beyond educational progress tracking.
3. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services
We absolutely do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. We do, however, share necessary data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our platform. This includes Razorpay for secure payment processing (we never store your raw credit card data on our servers), Cloudflare for network security and content delivery, and Mailgun for transactional email delivery. These providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
4. Data Security and Storage
We implement industry-standard security measures, including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit and encrypted database storage for data at rest. Your password is never stored in plain text; it is securely hashed and salted. Despite our best efforts, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we continuously monitor our systems for vulnerabilities and attacks.
5. Your Data Rights (GDPR & CCPA Compliance)
Depending on your location, you have the right to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal information. You may also have the right to restrict or object to our processing of your data. You can export your learning data directly from your account settings.
